Liver Flush

Into a blender add extra virgin olive oil- 2 tablespoons or up to a third of a cup, with fresh lemon juice-about 1-2 thirds cup, garlic 3-5cloves, ginger 1-knob, cayenne pepper half gram & top up with freshly squeezed orange juice.

Juice of one medium grapefruit
Juice of half a lemon
1 tablespoon fresh ginger
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic garlic, pressed
Blend until creamy. Drink the liver flush first thing in the morning before breakfast. Don’t eat for an hour or two, followed by:

Cleansing Polaritea
This tea stimulates the liver and digestion. It is excellent any time, but especially useful on a fast or following a liver flush. This recipe makes 4 cups – you can keep it in the fridge for a day or two.
1 tablespoon flaxseed
1 tablespoon fennel seed
1 tablespoon fenugreek seed
1 tablespoon burdock root
1/2 tablespoon liquorice
1 heaping tablespoon peppermint
4 cups water
All all the herbs except the peppermint to the water, and simmer, covered, for 14 minutes. Turn off the heat and add the peppermint – steep for 15 minutes. Strain, and drink.
